On Saturday June 1, 2013, “Moombahton Massive Day” was celebrated in Washington D.C. Film director Sahar Sarshar was there to document the event, discussing the party’s origin with the creators and the spirit of the movement with family and friends.
The daytime portion was held at Velvet Lounge w/ the Moombahton Massive Crew, Que Bajo, and Maracuyeah DJs. The back patio was hosted by Mama Nada and her world famous empanadas and Ecuadorian cuisine.
The night time portion was held at the 930 Club w/ DJs Nadastrom, Sabo, Tittsworth, Gent & Jawns, Kingman Fire, Heartbreak, Jay Fay, DJ Ayres, Cousin Culo, DJ Reck, Phi Unit, DeeJay Theory, Jon Kwest, and Thomas Blondet. Visuals provided by DJ Orion.

Singer Tatiana Owens and producer DJ Ayres just released Beautiful People, a cover of Barbara Tucker’s 1994 classic house anthem, updated with a UK Garage swagger, a big ol’ bassline and Tatiana’s soaring diva vocals.
